Joseph’s Iconic Hero Tats Include Superman, Batman, & Spider-Man

Occasionally we get e-mails asking if we want to see tattoos from fans or just pros. The answer is we want to see them from everyone. If it’s something that might appeal to our readers, we want to shine a light on it. So don’t be shy…

Today’s subject is Joseph Rivera, who asked the above question and said he had quite a few pieces we might like. He fired back with six super hero tattoos including Superman from George Perez’ classic “Crisis on Infinite Earths” cover, the Hulk, Captain America based on Michael Turner’s “Civil War” cover, an Alex Ross Batman, and Spider-Man and Silver Surfer ink.

All tattoos were done at Master Huan’s Tattoos in Queens, NY.

That Silver Surfer one looks pretty good.

Sorry I dont know how to make it clickable

Nevermind it is clickable

Little overboard for my taste….but the spider man and silver surfer look good.

I wouldn’t have paid a dime for that cap. You can see blow outs that were covered up with shading in a few spots where the shield is uneven on spots with heavy shading, and his jaw was serious screwed up. I don’t know if that was just a poor freehand that he okayed, or a garbage trace but his face is all jacked up. Between that and the completely piss poor job on the bis and tris.

Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, Robin, Captain America

This is what happens when guys stay virgins for too long. They give up on life and cover themselves with superhero tattoos.

Lame.

If somebodies wants to get a tat let ‘em.
But don’t get on here with the tried hate-speak.
Don’t be such a penis Matt.

Remind me to never go to that tattoo shop

Why does it look like Batman has a goatee?

Nevermind, just saw the original artwork and Ross’s shadows make it look that way.
